Nonna's Kitchen

This Documentation Sucks

Cannoli is in early preview. Expect the docs to get better as things progress and get finalized.

I'd rather just get feedback than commit to making good docs against a moving target.

WTF is Nonna's Kitchen?

Nonna's Kitchen is a built-in file server that lets you manage content on your device from a web browser. No cables, no file managers, no fuss.

It's organized by platform, so you pick a system and upload ROMs, box art, saves, or save states right into it. Everything lands in the correct folder automatically following the directory structure Cannoli expects. No need to think about where files go.

Starting the Server

You can toggle the server on and off from Settings → Nonna's Kitchen.

When the server is running, pressing Y on the main menu will open the Kitchen overlay showing a QR code and URL.

Connecting

From any device on the same Wi-Fi network:

  1. Scan the QR code or enter the URL shown on screen
  2. Enter the 6-character PIN displayed on the device

No pesky passwords to remember here! The PIN changes every time the server starts.

What You Can Do

Once connected you'll see options to manage content across all supported platforms:

  • BIOS: Upload BIOS files required by certain platforms
  • Box Art: Upload artwork for your games
  • Guides: Upload .pdf, .txt, .png or .jpg / .jpeg files that you can view while in-game
  • ROMs: Upload, rename, and delete games
  • Save States: Upload and download emulator save states (coming soon)
  • Saves: Upload and download in-game save files
  • Wallpapers: Upload background images for the launcher
